Do you want to be considered near to God?

Do you want to be in the category of those who are considered nearest to Allah, but are not sure Who He is or do you feel sluggish and unmotivated?

Do you know there are Scriptures that can enlighten you and give answers to many questions you and your friends may have. You should know that everything belongs to the Divine Creator. The world is given to mankind in loan. We can use everything around us but should know that it all belongs to the Highest of highest.

021.019 وَلَهُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأرْضِ وَمَنْ عِنْدَهُ لا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ وَلا يَسْتَحْسِرُونَ
021.019 To Him belong all (creatures) in the heavens and on earth: Even those who are in His (very) Presence are not too proud to serve Him, nor are they (ever) weary (of His service):

021.020 يُسَبِّحُونَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لا يَفْتُرُونَ
021.020 They celebrate His praises night and day, nor do they ever flag or intermit.

002.028 كَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَكُنْتُمْ أَمْوَاتًا فَأَحْيَاكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
002.028 How can ye reject the faith in Allah?- seeing that ye were without life, and He gave you life; then will He cause you to die, and will again bring you to life; and again to Him will ye return.

002.029 هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مَا فِي الأرْضِ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَسَوَّاهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
002.029 It is He Who hath created for you all things that are on earth; Moreover His design comprehended the heavens, for He gave order and perfection to the seven firmaments; and of all things He hath perfect knowledge.

In our life, all depends on how we try to live with ourselves and with others. But that should go in relationship with what our Divine Creator expect from us.

Problem with mankind is that not many do want to know about Some One or Some Thing that would be higher  or more important than a human being. Many are convinced we do not need someone out of ourselves to direct our lives. A majority of people believes they can do it on their own and do not need gods or a God.

Lots of people may believe in lots of things and perhaps also in lots of gods. Though for mankind it is very important to come to believe in the Al-Waahid or Unique One and Only One True God. And to do so, this requires Faith.

To come to faith requires a great deal of thought and consideration. Several tools can help in this regard. For example, one can talk to several people and discuss the subject. But Allah Al-Aliyy, the Almighty Himself has also made arrangements for people to learn more about Him. For this purpose, He has had His own words written down in various books which have been handed down through the ages by transcribers and later through printing presses. It is these written words of the Most High that we must cherish and take as our primary source of truth. They are our best school.

002.032 قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ لا عِلْمَ لَنَا إِلا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ
002.032 They said: “Glory to Thee, of knowledge We have none, save what Thou Hast taught us: In truth it is Thou Who art perfect in knowledge and wisdom.”

002.121 الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَتْلُونَهُ حَقَّ تِلاوَتِهِ أُولَئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِهِ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ
002.121 Those to whom We have sent the Book study it as it should be studied: They are the ones that believe therein: Those who reject faith therein,- the loss is their own.

Allah provided possibilities all over the world, making it possible that people could get His Word to study it.

“السرائر للرب الهنا والمعلنات لنا ولبنينا الى الابد لنعمل بجميع كلمات هذه الشريعة” (تث 29:29 Arabic)

“The secret things belong unto Yahweh our God: but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” (De 29:29 KJBPNV)

“اجمع الشعب الرجال والنساء والاطفال والغريب الذي في ابوابك لكي يسمعوا ويتعلموا ان يتقوا الرب الهكم ويحرصوا ان يعملوا بجميع كلمات هذه التوراة.” (تث 31:12 Arabic)

“Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and your stranger that is within your gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear Yahweh your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:” (De 31:12 KJBPNV)

Therefore we should come together to talk about the heavenly things and to support each other in the search for the Truth.

“غير تاركين اجتماعنا كما لقوم عادة بل واعظين بعضنا بعضا وبالاكثر على قدر ما ترون اليوم يقرب” (عب 10:25 Arabic)

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is;but exhorting one another:and so much the more, as you see the day approaching.” (Heb 10:25 KJBPNV)

If you want to come close to God you shall have to come close to your neighbours first. Without brotherly love there is no possibility to find Godly love. Only when we want to become clean ourselves and want to accept all other creations of God we shall be able to be recognised as one of God. But to come closer to him we should also be willing to feel sorry and repent for those things we have done wrong.

“اقتربوا الى الله فيقترب اليكم.نقوا ايديكم ايها الخطاة وطهروا قلوبكم يا ذوي الرأيين.” (يع 4:8 Arabic)

“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded.” (Jas 4:8 KJBPNV)

002.160 إِلا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَأَصْلَحُوا وَبَيَّنُوا فَأُولَئِكَ أَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنَا التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
002.160 Except those who repent and make amends and openly declare (the Truth): To them I turn; for I am Oft-returning, Most Merciful.

002.089 وَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ كِتَابٌ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ مُصَدِّقٌ لِمَا مَعَهُمْ وَكَانُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ مَا عَرَفُوا كَفَرُوا بِهِ فَلَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ
002.089 And when there comes to them a Book from Allah, confirming what is with them,- although from of old they had prayed for victory against those without Faith,- when there comes to them that which they (should) have recognised, they refuse to believe in it but the curse of Allah is on those without Faith.

Today we can get those books from Al-Waahid, and as such have no reason to deny the opportunity to study His Word. It is there for everyone whatever language the person may speak.

002.044 أَتَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ بِالْبِرِّ وَتَنْسَوْنَ أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ تَتْلُونَ الْكِتَابَ أَفَلا تَعْقِلُونَ
002.044 Do ye enjoin right conduct on the people, and forget (To practise it) yourselves, and yet ye study the Scripture? Will ye not understand?

002.021 يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اعْبُدُوا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
002.021 O ye people! Adore your Guardian-Lord, who created you and those who came before you, that ye may have the chance to learn righteousness;

Yes, we have the Highest as our Al-Mu’min, when we are willing to listen to Him and to come closer to Him.

003.093 كُلُّ الطَّعَامِ كَانَ حِلا لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ إِلا مَا حَرَّمَ إِسْرَائِيلُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تُنَزَّلَ التَّوْرَاةُ قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِالتَّوْرَاةِ فَاتْلُوهَا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
003.093 All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel Made unlawful for itself, before the Law (of Moses) was revealed. Say: “Bring ye the Law and study it, if ye be men of truth.”

Each individual has to make the own right choice to take the proper food which shall lead to life. But each person shall have to do his or her best to eat the right solid food to be strengthened and to continue in the search for God and for finding the right path to the Kingdom of God.

“واما الطعام القوي فللبالغين الذين بسبب التمرن قد صارت لهم الحواس مدربة على التمييز بين الخير والشر” (عب 5:14 Arabic)

“اعملوا لا للطعام البائد بل للطعام الباقي للحياة الابدية الذي يعطيكم ابن الانسان لان هذا الله الآب قد ختمه.” (يو 6:27 Arabic)

“But strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” (Heb 5:14 KJBPNV)

“Labor not for the food which perishes, but for that meat which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give to you: for him has God the Father sealed.” (Joh 6:27 KJBPNV)

We have to receive the Word of Allah with all eagerness and let it nourish us so that we shall be able to stand strong in this world. We should be convinced that  “Man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of Jehovah”. By letting His Voice penetrate us, we shall be lifted up by it so that our soul can reach heaven.

There are loads of books written, but none can reach up to the level of Ěl Shaddai. Allah Al-Razzaaq is the One Who gives solid food to sustain. Not only will it strengthen our minds and prepare us to be able to stand strong in this world full of temptations, but it will lead us also into the most beautiful relationship with our Heavenly Creator.

We should know that the flesh is worthless. The real value is in the spirit.

“الروح هو الذي يحيي.اما الجسد فلا يفيد شيئا.الكلام الذي اكلمكم به هو روح وحياة.” (يو 6:63 Arabic)

“It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (Joh 6:63 KJBPNV)

“فاذلّك واجاعك واطعمك المنّ الذي لم تكن تعرفه ولا عرفه آبائك لكي يعلّمك انه ليس بالخبز وحده يحيا الانسان بل بكل ما يخرج من فم الرب يحيا الانسان.” (تث 8:3 Arabic)

“And he humbled you, and allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you knew not, neither did your fathers know; that he might make you know that man does not live by bread only, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of Yahweh does man live.” (De 8:3 KJBPNV)

For those who want to come closer to Him, Allah is willing to safeguard them, by protecting them for Allah will never allow any human being to be deceived, to believe a lie, and not give Him the Truth if that person really desires Truth. The Nazarene master teacher spoke of experience about the way Allah treats those who want to be close to Him. He said

“ان شاء احد ان يعمل مشيئته يعرف التعليم هل هو من الله ام اتكلم انا من نفسي.” (يو 7:17 Arabic)

“If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it is of God, or whether I speak of myself.” (Joh 7:17 KJBPNV)

That man of God also let others know that the truly blessed ones are those who recognise the spiritual poverty of self-reliance and learn to depend wholly on God. He was an example how man can depend and serve God. We need communion with God the way our bodies need oxygen and food to survive.
